Matt Shepard is an assignment editor for KOAA in beautiful Colorado Springs, CO.
Ever since he can remember, Matt has been passionate about the news and anything related to it. His first assignment editor position was with The Western Journal, an online news organization based in Phoenix, AZ that specialized in providing nationwide news coverage. He seeks to bring the news of the day that will affect and resonate with the people of Colorado Springs.
Matt received his bachelor’s in political science from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ.
Matt is a native of Seattle, Washington, and loves the outdoors of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He is looking forward to exploring the mountains of the Centennial State and all that Colorado has to offer.
