Wildfire smoke increases along the Front Range Saturday

Today’s Forecast:
Hot and smoky today with wildfire smoke increasing and record highs possible. The standing record in Colorado Springs is 93° and in Pueblo 100°.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 95; Low: 61. Likely to break the record high today. Wildfire smoke may become thick this afternoon.

PUEBLO: High: 100; Low: 61. Hot and dry today, and possibly breaking the record high. Wildfire smoke becomes thicker this afternoon.

CANON CITY: High: 98; Low: 64. Very hot and hazy today, with at least light wildfire smoke in place all day.

WOODLAND PARK: High: 86; Low: 53. Very warm with smoky skies today.

TRI-LAKES: High: 90s; Low: 50s. Low 90s and smoky today with wildfire smoke increasing through the afternoon.

PLAINS: High: 90s/100s; Low: 60s. Upper 90s for the plains with 100s along the Arkansas river. Likely to stay sunny with light smoke.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High: 90s; Low: 60s. Mid 90s today with wildfire smoke increasing later this afternoon.

Sunday will feel very similar with hot temperatures and the wildfire smoke may linger through the afternoon.
