SOUTHERN COLORADO — Your ballot for the March 2020 Presidential Primary Election is already on the way to your home or even sitting on the counter waiting to be filled out and mailed back.
Colorado will join 14 other states to vote on Tuesday, March 3 — commonly known as "Super Tuesday" — a day where many delegates are up for grabs for presidential candidates. The state having its primary on this day has some impacts on the state's role overall in the election.
This marks the state's first presidential primary in four election cycles.
Voters approved a ballot question in 2016 to allow unaffiliated voters to vote in primaries. This means for many of the state's voters it will be the first primary they've ever voted in.
The list of candidates as they will appear on the respective party ballots is listed below. Note: your ballot will not reflect the full list of candidates since some dropped out of the presidential race after the ballots were mailed.
According to the Colorado Secretary of State's office, candidates who have officially withdrawn with the office will not have votes counted. Those candidates are U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and Maryland Congressman John Delaney. Other candidates who have withdrawn publicly, but didn't fill out paperwork will have their votes counted.

Voter services and polling centers will be open between Feb. 24 and March 3.
Ballots can be mailed back or dropped off at a number of ballot drop off boxes. Ballots can also be dropped off at voter polling and service centers (VPSC). VPSCs are also places for voters to register to vote, update voter registration, request a replacement ballot, or have access to ADA devices. Voters can also vote in person at these locations.
In Colorado, voters can register on or before Election Day to vote.
