Emergency warming shelter opens in Pueblo
An emergency warming shelter is now open in Pueblo. The Pueblo Rescue Mission will manage the shelter at 901 W. 9th Street, on a temporary basis until a permanent facility opens. The decision to open an emergency facility was based on safety.

Frighteningly cold start to Halloween
It'll be extremely cold this morning, but a full day of sunshine will warm afternoon temperatures up above freezing. We'll see plenty of melting today through the afternoon, meaning that icy sidewalks could become an issue again tonight when the water tries to freeze over.

Kenney primed for key witness role in Frazee murder trial
Krystal Kenney sat down for an interview last December at the Colorado Springs Police Department where she said how Frazee killed Berreth with a baseball bat, when it happened on Thanksgiving Day and more. Kenney looks to be a pivotal player in the state's case, but others fear her role in the crime and previous behavior will make her an easy target for the defense.

Fire sparks on second floor of Security-Widefield home
Firefighters are clearing the scene of a house fire that happened overnight in the 7400 block of Silverdale Street in Security-Widefield. El Paso County Sheriff's Office officials said there are no injuries reported due to the fire, but one teenager in the home was unaccounted for.
