Grand opening of Skate in the Park offers free skating
Skate in the Park is celebrating this season's official opening with free skating tonight. Skate in the Park is located at Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs. Normally, tickets cost $10 and that includes ski rentals.

Colorado Springs day care provider under investigation following welfare check
A Colorado Springs day care provider is being accused of having more kids than it is licensed to. Colorado Springs Police said when they went to do a welfare check more than two dozen kids were found hiding in a basement behind a false wall.

Cloudy but warmer temperatures for your Friday
Cloudy skies across southern Colorado today, but with fairly mild air underneath. An area of low pressure will develop east of the Front Range, working to draw warm, down slope winds into the lower elevations and push highs back into the mid to upper 60s.

Agent testifies evidence would not have been found without Kenney

Grand Jury report released in De'Von Bailey police killing
The El Paso County Grand Jury found the two Colorado Springs Police Officers who shot and killed a 19-year-old robbery suspect as he was running away from them were justified in the use of deadly force. Sergeant Alan Van't Land and Officer Blake Evenson were the subjects of a statutory multi-agency deadly force investigation as a result of the August 3, 2019 shooting which claimed the life of De'Von Bailey.
