CSPD looking for suspect in hit-and-run crash after argument outside bar
Colorado Springs police are looking for the suspect who hit and seriously injured a man with his truck outside of the Copperhead Road bar on N. Academy Boulevard around 1:45 a.m. Police said the suspect was a Hispanic man who was driving a late 1990s single-cab Chevy Silverado that should have damage to its passenger side. Anyone with information about the suspect or anyone who has a tip about the suspect's vehicle should call Colorado Springs police at 719-444-7000.
Highway 115 reopened after fatal crash
A fiery crash on Highway 115 that left one person dead has been cleared following a lengthy closure overnight. All lanes of Highway 115 are now open.
Flights at DIA delayed due to fog at the airport
Heavy fog has caused a ground stop of incoming flights at DIA as of 6:30 a.m. This could impact departure times later in the day and might impact travel out of Denver.

U.S. economy adds 164,00 jobs in July
The Labor Department says the unemployment rate stayed at 3.7% for a second straight month. Average hourly earnings increased 3.2% from a year ago, up from annual gains of 3% in June.
Broncos start preseason with a 14-10 win over Falcons
Denver head coach Vic Fangio had a painful coaching debut, but it had nothing to do with the results on the field. The 60-year-old coach suffered through kidney stones during his head coaching debut in the Broncos 14-10 win over Atlanta Wednesday.
