COLORADO SPRINGS – Cone zone orange is on its way to full display as our days get warmer. A major contributor in Colorado Springs is 2C projects. “We’ve got some really big streets coming up this year in 2019,” said Colorado Springs Public Works Manger, Corey Farkas.

2C is the temporary five-year tax approved by voters to update rough roads. The work is heading into year four of five. The goal is a thousand lane miles paved by the end of the five years. Work is currently on track to meet the goal.
