COLORADO SPRINGS – It’s a holiday event that’s gone to the dogs. All Breed Rescue and Training in Colorado Springs hosted their first ever Howl-a-day Bazaar Sunday.

Dog owners got to bring their pets and kids for photos with Santa and the Grinch. Meanwhile, a number of small business set up shop in the bazaar selling pet-themed and pet-friendly gifts.

Rescue founder Lauren Fox said she’s wanted to put on this event for years but didn’t have enough space until now.

“This was my original brainchild 14 years ago that I’m finally seeing to fruition,” Fox said. “So, I’m pretty excited about it.”

It is the season of giving, and so Fox invited other local charities from the Indy Gives campaign set up booths alongside businesses in the bazaar to try and raise donations for their organizations.

All Breed rescues the dogs who would otherwise be deemed unadoptable at the Humane Society. Lauren and her volunteers give them the extra love and training they need to get a second chance at life.
