Sub-tropical air coupled with strong jet stream winds delivered plenty of fresh snow to Southern Colorado this past weekend. Snow totals from the storm were highest over the San Juan Mountains and Sawatch Range. Wolf Creek Pass the big winner with 32" of snow over the past 48 hours. Monarch through the weekend picked up 31" of powder.
Closer to home, parts of Pueblo County got clobbered, with 15-18" of snow reported near the town of Rye, and 11" in Beaulah. We saw 9" of snow in Colorado City and Wetmore.
Central El Paso County totals ranged from 3-7", with the highest amounts west of I-25 across the eastern slopes. Canon City and Pueblo saw between 4-5" of snow.
