PUEBLO — On Tuesday, Meteorologist Alex O'Brien visited the child care center at CSU Pueblo to talk with the preschool age children about weather.
There she read to the children about Freddy the Frogcaster and how he forecasts the weather. They also performed a weather experiment by sampling temperatures with a thermometer outside. The kids learned how hot pavement and asphalt can get in the sun. They also learned how the temperature is cooler in the shade and in the grass.
