Today’s Forecast:
Little to talk about today as far as the forecast goes, and that’s a good thing! Highs will be great with sunny skies and light winds through the afternoon. Low elevation temperatures will be in the 70s this afternoon with 60s in the mountains! We’ll keep our clear skies tonight with lows falling into the 40s by Saturday morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 72; Low – 43. Sunny, dry and warm with light winds.

PUEBLO: High – 77; Low – 43.  Sunny skies, dry and very warm with calm winds.

CANON CITY: High – 76; Low – 40. Sunny, warm and dry with light winds.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 63; Low – 39. Sunny, mild and dry with light winds.

TRI-LAKES: High – 60s; Low – 40s. Sunny, dry and warm with light winds.

PLAINS: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Sunny skies, dry and very warm with light winds.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Sunny, warm and dry with light winds.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Saturday is going to be warm to even hot across southern Colorado with Colorado Springs warming up near 80 and Pueblo seeing highs well into the mid-80s! The winds will stay light Saturday and be sure to wear sunscreen if you’re out for a hike. A few stray thunderstorms could pop up Saturday evening, but it doesn’t look like very much rain will develop.

EASTER FORECAST:
Easter Sunday looks to start dry and mild with cloud cover building into the afternoon and storms likely from the afternoon through the overnight hours. Sunday service and any morning Easter egg hunts should be fine, just know that outdoor plans in the second half of the day may need to be moved indoors. Showers and cooler weather stick around through Monday and Tuesday with dry and warmer air back by Wednesday.
