Today’s Forecast:
Beautiful weather awaits southern Colorado today as a ridge of high pressure takes over and sweeps warmth throughout the region! Fire danger is relatively high today despite no fire advisories due to very dry and low relative humidity, especially through the afternoon. The winds will be strong through the afternoon with highs reaching the 70s for most of the interstate but 80s from Pueblo east to Lamar. Tonight we’ll see clouds fill up the sky with light winds and mild low temperatures.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
A strong cold front will push through Wednesday morning, bringing strong winds and much colder air to southern Colorado. Scattered showers will develop in the Pikes Peak region down to Pueblo and Canon City, but some of the best and heaviest rain tomorrow will occur south of highway 50 through Las Animas and Baca counties. The southern mountains will see light snow, mainly the Sangre De Cristo range. Woodland Park will see a mixture of rain and snow through the day, but with little to no accumulation.
