Today’s Forecast:

There may be a few sprinkles or even a brief rumble of thunder for some Saturday afternoon in to evening, but the story really is…the mild temperatures through Tuesday. I expect skies to really clear out by early Sunday, and it stays spectacular through Tuesday.

There is long-range computer model guidance that is suggesting not only a cool down middle of next week, and not only unsettled weather, but at night, and especially Teller and NW El Paso Counties, the possibility of some wet snow Wednesday night and next Thursday night. We will see. But it does look much cooler and certainly unsettled for Wednesday PM into Friday.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High: 67. Mostly cloudy today…a PM sprinkle or rumble?

PUEBLO:  High: 73. Mostly cloudy & mild Saturday.

CANON CITY:  High: 70. Mostly cloudy Saturday, a PM sprinkle.

WOODLAND PARK:  High: 56. Mostly cloudy Saturday…sprinkles or virga.

TRI-LAKES:  High: 59. Mostly cloudy Saturday…sprinkles or virga.

PLAINS:  High: 73. Mostly cloudy & mild Saturday.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD:  High: 72. Cloudy with sprinkles tonight, mostly cloudy Saturday, a few sprinkles.
