Today’s Forecast:
After a cloudy and chilly Wednesday, we’re breaking out the sunshine and bringing back a Spring-like feel! Sunny skies will greet us in the morning with some building cloud cover, especially in the Pikes Peak region, back into the afternoon. The breeze will be a bit stronger at the end of the day, but it’ll only help it feel gorgeous for any afternoon and evening hikes. The clouds tonight will thin out by Friday morning and we’ll see low temperatures in the 40s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 68; Low – 40. Sunny skies in the morning with clouds filling in through the late afternoon. Warm today with a breezy end of the day.

PUEBLO: High – 73; Low – 43.  Mostly sunny skies with very warm air and light winds through the afternoon.

CANON CITY: High – 71; Low – 42. Mostly sunny skies with very warm air and light winds through the afternoon.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 56; Low – 34. Sunny skies in the morning with more clouds in the afternoon. Mild temperatures and light wind through the afternoon.

TRI-LAKES: High – 60s; Low – 30s. Sunny skies in the morning with thicker cloud cover in the afternoon. It’ll be warm today but we can’t rule out a quick isolated shower or sprinkle in the late afternoon.

PLAINS: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Mostly sunny skies with very warm air and light winds through the afternoon.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 60s; Low – 40s. Mostly sunny skies with very warm air and light winds through the afternoon.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Friday will start off with mostly clear skies, with only a few areas seeing some cirrus clouds scattered across the sky. We’ll be dry on Friday with warmer air than today and a bit more wind through the afternoon. Saturday is going to be cloudier and a few degrees cooler through the region, with only a small chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the Pikes Peak region. Sunday through Tuesday looks warm, sunny and dry.
