Clouds clear out overnight ahead of a sunny Thursday morning

Tonight’s Forecast:
A chance of rain and thunderstorms this afternoon along the I-25 corridor and plains gives way to clear skies across the viewing area overnight. Chilly conditions will exist in higher elevations ahead of a sunny southern Colorado by Thursday morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low –  37; High – 62. Clear overnight with north-northwest winds of 7 mph.

PUEBLO: Low – 40; High – 70.  Clear overnight with north-northwest winds of 6 mph.

CANON CITY: Low –  40; High – 71. Clear overnight with westerly winds of 9 mph.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 34; High – 55. Clearing late with west-southwest winds of 9 mph.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 37; High – 60. Clearing late with west-northwest winds of 6 mph.

PLAINS: Low – 43; High – 68.  Clear overnight with northwesterly winds of 5 mph.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 42; High – 69.  Clear overnight with westerly winds of 10 mph.


EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

Clear skies tonight will mean a sunny start to Thursday and a quick acceleration into beautiful afternoon temperatures! Highs will be in the 60s and 70s on Thursday, and then widespread 70s by Friday! Saturday is going to be tricky, with a small chance for showers and a few thunderstorms in the afternoon, mainly in the Pikes Peak region. Warm and dry air returns Sunday and sticks around through Tuesday
