After a brutal 60 hours, it is warming up…
Summary: An upper level (jet stream) storm is cutting off across the southwestern part of the country, and will feed in some clouds through Friday. As it then begins lifting out and dissipating, there will probably be a few odd pockets of showers of snow, Friday and Friday night. There may be lingering flurries south of Pueblo, Saturday morning, but that will go quickly away.
Beyond that, a strong…west…downslope will develop Sunday and Monday, resulting in dry and rapidly warming conditions. That probably lasts until next Wednesday.
Temp-wise, low teens tonight, 30s tomorrow, around 40F Friday, could be in the 50s…come Monday.
PS: Mountains west of the Divide will get moderate to heavy snows several time periods through Friday night, fyi.
