Chilly overnight lows are being felt mostly out into the eastern plains with the I-25 corridor starting the day in the 20s. Today will be breezy, but it will also feature the lightest winds of the entire week! Sunny skies with a few afternoon clouds will push highs into the upper 40s in Colorado Springs and mid 50s for Pueblo. Fire danger stays low this afternoon but increases by Wednesday.

CANON CITY: High – 50; Low – 26. Cool with a steady afternoon breeze.

TRI-LAKES: High – 40s; Low – 10s. Cool with a steady afternoon breeze.

PLAINS: High – 50s; Low – 20s. Mild with sunny skies and a steady afternoon breeze.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
The winds will start to crank out of the west and northwest on Wednesday, increasing fire danger and prompting a Fire Weather Watch for Wednesday afternoon. Highs will be pushed back into the 60s Wednesday and Thursday with cooler air starting to arrive by Friday. We’ll be dry on Wednesday and Thursday but a rain snow mixture might run back through the area by Friday, with light snow possible for Saturday. Much colder air arrives by Sunday and Monday with a much better chance for heavy, accumulating snow on Monday.
