Tonight’s Forecast:
Cold this evening with temperatures dropping quickly. We head for another chilly night with lows in the 0’s for most. Some refreezing will still be possible for back roads, sidewalks, parking lots, etc.
COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 10, High – 50. Mainly clear and cold tonight. A nice boost in temperatures tomorrow.
PUEBLO: Low – 6, High – 51. Cold and mainly clear overnight. Temperatures make a nice jump tomorrow.
CANON CITY: Low – 10, High – 50. Clear and cold tonight. Temperatures improve for Wednesday.
WOODLAND PARK: Low – 3, High – 42. Chilly and mainly clear overnight. Wednesday will be milder.
TRI-LAKES: Low – 0’s, High – 40’s. Another bitterly cold night. Temperatures make big improvements tomorrow.
PLAINS: Low – 0’s, High – 50. Very cold again overnight. A nice warmup for tomorrow.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 0’s, High – 40’s.Another very chilly night. Temperatures improve Wednesday.
REST OF THE WEEK: A nice warming trend for the rest of the week. Highs in the 40’s and low 50’s on Wednesday then solidly in the 50’s through the end of the week. Skies will be mainly sunny and we should do a lot of melting. Into the weekend, we could get some decent snow for the mountains. This could be really good for ski resorts, but we look to stay mainly dry for the lower elevations. Our biggest concern will be the possibility of gusty winds on Sunday with cooler temperatures for the start of the new week.
