Today’s Forecast:
Areas of clouds today, but precipitation won’t be an issue for us. Snow stays in the mountains, where several inches are possible, along with gusty winds. Plan on needed extra time for any mountain travel. Temperatures will still be well above average in the 50’s and low 60’s. Winds will be a bit breezy at times with some gusts over 20 mph.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 59; Low – 27. Areas of clouds with breezy winds and above average temperatures.
PUEBLO: High – 63; Low – 26. Some clouds and mild temperatures with breezy winds.
CANON CITY: High – 57; Low – 27. Breezy with some clouds and pleasant temperatures.
WOODLAND PARK: High – 46; Low – 21. Areas of clouds with nice temperatures and breezy winds.
TRI-LAKES: High – 50’s; Low – 20’s. Above average with breezy winds and areas of cloud cover.
PLAINS: High – 60’s; Low – 20’s. Clouds at times with mild temperatures and breezy winds.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 50’s; Low – 20’s. Areas of clouds with breezy winds and warm temps.
REST OF THE WEEK: Skies improve tonight and winds stay breezy with lows in the 20’s for most. A brighter day on Monday, but that will come with stronger winds. Gusts around 40 mph will be possible. Temperatures will still be well above average in the 50’s for most. Winds improve and temperatures drop for Tuesday with highs mainly in the 40’s. Temperatures improve for the rest of the week, quickly getting back into the 50’s. Aside from some cloud cover on Wednesday, we should have a good deal of sunshine and dry conditions for the rest of the week.
