Today’s Forecast:
After the COLD morning we saw today, the afternoon is going to feel like a heat wave, even though it still qualifies as chilly! Sunshine and a ridge of high pressure in the jet stream help drive warmth into the forecast today, with the next two days looking even better! The winds will, thankfully, stay light this afternoon, but that does mean we’ll see another very cold night.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 58; Low – 34. Sunny to start the day with clouds building through the afternoon and mild high temperatures.

PUEBLO: High – 61; Low – 29. Mostly sunny skies turn to heavier clouds by sunset with nice high temperatures.

CANON CITY: High – 60; Low – 38. Sunny to start the day with clouds building through the afternoon and mild high temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 52; Low – 27. Sunny morning with a cloudier afternoon and chilly high temperatures.

TRI-LAKES: High – 50s; Low – 30s. Sunny to start the day with clouds building through the afternoon and chilly high temperatures.

PLAINS: High – 60s; Low – 20/30s. Mostly sunny skies turn to heavier clouds by sunset with nice high temperatures.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 50/60s; Low – 30s. Mostly sunny skies turn to heavier clouds through the afternoon with mild high temperatures.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK:
Tomorrow will feature partly cloudy but dry skies and even warmer weather compared to today! Highs will warm into the low to mid 60s across the lower elevations, and low to mid 50s in the mountains! A cold front will move in Wednesday night and put highs on Thursday back into the lower 50s. Rain and snow are possible on Friday, especially around the Pikes Peak region and Palmer Divide, but the big winter system to watch is this weekend. Sunday into Monday could be nasty with a chance for decent snow accumulation and very cold air.
