Tonight’s Forecast: Skies try to clear this evening for the lower elevations. Snow will continue for the mountains to our west. Winds will increase for everyone with gusts over 30 mph at times. Lows will stay on the mild side for all of the shoppers out there thanks to those winds with lows mainly in the 30’s. Hold on tight to any bags as you’re out hitting the sales.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 32, High – 56. Clearing skies with increasing winds tonight. Windy and mainly sunny for Black Friday.

PUEBLO: Low – 32, High – 62. Mostly clear and breezy tonight. Mostly sunny and windy tomorrow.

CANON CITY: Low – 36, High – 57. Mainly clear tonight with increasing winds. Windy tomorrow with sunshine.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 25, High – 41. Mainly clear with increasing winds tonight. Gusty on Friday with sunshine.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 30, High – 50. Mainly clear with increasing winds overnight. Stronger winds tomorrow with mainly sunny skies.

PLAINS: Low – 30’s, High – 60’s. Mostly clear and breezy tonight. Friday will be windy with sunshine.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 30’s, High – 60. Breezy and mainly clear overnight. Sunshine with stronger winds tomorrow.

REST OF THE WEEK: Black Friday will be a windy day with gusts over 30 mph at times. The sun will be out with highs in the 50’s and 60’s. Saturday will be even gustier with strong winds possible throughout the day and gusts over 40 mph at times. High temperatures will depend on the timing of a cold front. It’s looking like we make it into the 50’s and low 60’s ahead of that front, which will come in with strong wind and colder air. We’ll have the chance for a few showers later Saturday evening into the overnight. So far any accumulations look minor, if it adds up to anything at all. Snow will be much more abundant for the high country and combined with strong winds there could be travel issues in the mountains. Any of that clears out by Sunday with winds improving as well. We’ll be colder to end the weekend with highs only in the 40’s. Things look pretty quiet after that. Winds will be calmer, skies will be mainly sunny, and temperatures will be improving back into the 50’s by Tuesday.
