Today’s Forecast:

Mainly cloudy skies today with a small chance for a spotty shower. Most precipitation with today’s disturbance stays in the northern and central mountains. Temperatures stay below average today, mainly in the 40’s and 50’s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 51; Low – 35. Frost/fog this morning with mainly cloudy skies, a small chance for a spotty shower, and below average temperatures.

PUEBLO: High – 58; Low – 36. Areas of clouds this morning then mainly cloudy and below average today.

CANON CITY: High – 55; Low – 35. Mainly cloudy and mostly dry today with below average temperatures.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 42; Low – 26. Mainly cloudy with a chance for a spotty shower. Temperature stay cold.

TRI-LAKES: High – 40’s; Low – 30. Areas of fog and frost this morning then mainly cloudy with a spotty shower and cool temperatures.

PLAINS: High – 60; Low – 40. Areas of fog and frost early then mostly cloudy and cool. Chance for a spotty shower.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 60; Low – 30’s. Areas of fog and frost this morning then cool and mostly cloudy with a small chance for a spotty shower.

REST OF THE WEEK: Breezy tonight with lows in the 30’s. A little more sunshine for the first part of the work/school week. Monday will be breezy with highs in the 50’s to low 60’s for the warmest locations. Slightly cooler, 40’s and 50’s, on Tuesday with mainly sunny skies. The interesting part of the week will be Wednesday into Thursday. There are still some differences but the general idea will be an increased chance for rain/snow later Wednesday into Thursday. Temperatures will also drop for this period with highs on Thursday likely down into the 30’s and 40’s. The rest of the week looks quiet and mainly sunny with improving temperatures.
