WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 70’s; Low – 40. Sunny skies, warm temperatures, and a bit breezy this afternoon.
NEXT WEEK: Mainly clear skies tonight with lows in the 30’s and 40’s. A cold front late tonight/tomorrow morning will drop temperatures about 5-10 degrees for Sunday. Highs in the 60’s and 70’s with mainly sunny skies to end to weekend. Monday should be another nice day with downslope flow warming temperatures back into the 70’s and low 80’s. The middle of the week looks to be interesting with big changes. Temperatures drop into the 40’s and 50’s for the rest of the week. The chance for precipitation will arrive on Tuesday and linger into early Wednesday morning. As of now, skies look to be a little drier by trick-or-treat time, but temperatures will be very cold. Plan on needing the coats or layers to celebrate Halloween. Another disturbance will bring chances for showers on Thursday with drier conditions returning by Friday.
