Today’s Forecast:
Rain chances are slim this week but temperatures will be jumping all over the place! Today we’ll be nice and warm ahead of a cold front that will bring 10 to 15 degree cooler temperatures to Tuesday. A disturbance over Wyoming is going to bring scattered showers to the Continental Divide and places north of the Palmer Divide, but a few isolated showers or sprinkles might fall in the Pikes Peak region. Tonight that cold front will move through a few hours after midnight meaning we’ll wake up colder and VERY windy by Tuesday morning.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 81; Low – 50. Warm and breezy today with thicker afternoon cloud cover. Isolated showers or sprinkles are possible but dry air will likely prevent much of anything making it to the ground.

PUEBLO: High – 87; Low – 53. Hot and breezy today with thicker afternoon cloud cover and a stronger late day breeze. We should stay dry over Pueblo today and tonight.

CANON CITY: High – 86; Low – 53. Warm today with thicker afternoon cloud cover. We could see an isolated shower in some of the mountains surrounding Canon City but no rain should fall in town.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 71; Low – 37. Beautiful temperatures with thicker afternoon clouds. A few isolated showers are possible this afternoon but dry air will limit much of anything actually falling.

TRI-LAKES: High – 70s; Low – 40s. Warm with afternoon cloud cover and a small chance for scattered showers, especially along and over the Palmer Divide though the end of the day.

PLAINS: High – 80s; Low – 50s. Hot today with some afternoon cloud cover in areas closer to the I-25 corridor and a decent afternoon breeze. We should stay dry today and tonight.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 80s; Low – 40s. A few scattered showers are possible in the northern Sangre De Cristos and Wet mountains but Walsenburg to Trinidad should stay dry and warm.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK:
Tuesday will start off VERY windy and rather cool with gusts up to and over 30 mph through the early to mid morning hours. Highs Tuesday will be about 10 to 15 degrees cooler than today with Colorado Springs warming to the mid 60s and Pueblo right near 70. There is a chance for afternoon and overnight rain Tuesday into Wednesday but chances remain rather low any of that rain will make it out of the mountains.
