Storms bringing heavy downpours will wind down this evening. The main concern with slow-moving storms this evening, is flash flooding. The day will be repeated Saturday, but the difference is…those storms will be faster moving tomorrow…and more likely to feature hail & wind, versus flooding rains. They will be faster movers.

Also notably, a cold front is going to move across the area Sunday, and will drop temperatures enough that, it will almost have a Fall “tinge” to it, Sunday & Monday. This is something I brought up as a likelihood, a week ago.

I can’t say Sunday will be completely rain-free, in fact, I would expect breezy conditions and some light showers later in the day, as the front pushes through. Monday & Tuesday look nice, and dry.

Colorado Springs: Low: 56, High: 80. Rain ends early, then mostly cloudy. Partly sunny Saturday, PM storm.

Pueblo: Low: 61, High: 87. Rain ends early, then mostly cloudy. Partly sunny Saturday, PM storm.

Canon City: Low: 62, High: 85. Rain ends early, then partly cloudy. Partly sunny Saturday, PM storm.

Tri Lakes: Low: 50, High: 74. Rain ends early, then mostly cloudy. Partly sunny Saturday, couple PM storms.

Plains: Low: 63, High: 88. Rain ends by Midnight, then mostly cloudy. Partly sunny Saturday, PM storms.

Walsenburg/Trinidad: Low: 60, High: 86. Rain ends early, then partly cloudy. Partly sunny Saturday, PM storm.

Extended Outlook: Can’t rule out a few wind-driven but light showers later Sunday, but dry Monday & Tuesday…and cooler!
