Any storms that develop could be strong to severe for our northeastern areas with hail and strong winds possible. Any rain clears quickly through the late evening and overnight with lows in the 50’s and 60’s.

WEEK AHEAD: A cold front passing late today will bring cooler temperatures for the work week. Highs in the 70’s and 80’s for the first part of the week. Showers and storms will be far more abundant on Monday with upslope flow behind the front. Some of these could be on the strong to severe side and there will be potential for heavy rain so we’ll keep an eye on burn scars again. PM shower/storm chances will continue through the middle of the week. The latter part of the week will bring temperatures in the 80’s. Showers/storms look to be less abundant and mainly focused on the mountains and higher elevations.
