Today’s Forecast:
The forecast is drying out! Well… it’s kind of. Today we could see an isolated shower creep up along the Sangre De Cristo mountain and and the plains, but most of us should plan on a dry and cloudy day. It’ll also be very cool outside with temperatures BELOW average for once. Cloud cover won’t be too bad, we’ll see some return in the afternoon in areas that get a few showers. Tonight we’ll get a big temperature drop with most places settling into the lower 50s.

COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 70; Low – 50. Nice and cool today! We have a better chance of staying dry but a stray late morning or afternoon shower is possible. Tonight we’ll have clearing skies and cool temps.

PUEBLO: High – 77; Low – 55. Nice and cool today with only a very small chance for a quick shower. Plan on a dry day and night with clearing skies tonight and cool evening temperatures.

CANON CITY: High – 73; Low – 56. Sunny and cool today with a very small chance for a quick shower. Clearing skies tonight and cool.

WOODLAND PARK: High – 64; Low – 45. Partly cloudy and pretty cool out there today with only a small chance for an isolated shower. Clearing skies and chilly temperatures this evening.

TRI-LAKES: High – 60s; Low – 40s. Nice and cool today with only a very small chance of an isolated shower later today. Clearing skies and chilly evening temperatures.

PLAINS: High – 70s; Low – 50s. A stray shower is a little more likely across the plains this afternoon with some cloudy skies and very pleasant temperatures. Dry and cool tonight with clearing skies.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 70s; Low – 50s. A few scattered showers are possible in the area, but mainly west into the Sangre De Cristos. It’ll be nice and cool today with clearing skies tonight and cool evening temperatures.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK OR NEXT WEATHER MAKER
Tuesday looks beautiful, dry and sunny with highs back towards the 80s! Wednesday there looks to be a small chance for scattered afternoon storms, mainly across the mountains and I-25 corridor with better monsoon moisture returning on Friday and Saturday.
