Today will be very similar to yesterday with temperatures in the upper 80’s and 90’s. Sunny this morning with a few pm clouds. Any showers/storms stay confined to the mountains to our west. Lows in the 50’s and 60’s tonight.
COLORADO SPRINGS: High – 90; Low – 60. Another hot day with a few pm clouds.
PUEBLO: High – 97; Low – 63. Very hot with mainly sunny skies.
CANON CITY: High – 94; Low – 64. Another hot day with a few clouds later on.
WOODLAND PARK: High – 84; Low – 53. Warm again with a small chance for a stray shower/storm.
TRI-LAKES: High – 80’s; Low – 50’s. Mainly dry and hot today.
PLAINS: High – 90’s; Low – 60’s. Sunny and very hot today.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: High – 90’s; Low – 60’s. Very hot and sunny for your Sunday.
WEEK AHEAD:
We stay on auto pilot for the next few days with an upper level ridge locked in place across much of the country. Highs will be in the 80’s and 90’s with mostly sunny skies through at least the middle part of the week. A stray mountain storm isn’t out of the question, but the lower elevations stay bone dry. No moisture in sight until at least Thursday and even that chance isn’t great. Models are trying to put some precipitation chances in the mix starting Thursday and continuing into the early weekend, but we’ll see if that actually pans out.
