Tonight’s Forecast:
Clear skies tonight, and cool temps! In fact, you may want to shut the windows this night! Lows in the mid 40s to mid 50s.

Sunday starts out nice, fades by midday. A pocket of energy in Arizona gets caught up in the flow on the backside of today’s high pressure area moving across eastern Colorado…and drifts north up to about Colorado Springs. Therefore, the risk for a PM thundershower are better south, this time, versus north. And only for Sunday afternoon.

After that event, skies clear up, and Monday is the transition day, back in to high heat again Tuesday through Friday.

COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 48, High – 73. Clear, and cool tonight. Sunny start Sunday, clouds and then an after 2pm T-shower.

PUEBLO: Low – 52, High – 78. Clear, and cool tonight. Sunny start Sunday, clouds and an afternoon T-shower.

CANON CITY: Low – 52, High – 77. Clear, and cool tonight. Sunny start Sunday, clouds and then an afternoon T-shower.

WOODLAND PARK: Low – 42, High – 66. Clear, and chilly tonight. Sunny start Sunday, clouds and maybe an afternoon T-shower.

TRI-LAKES: Low – 45, High – 68. Clear, and cool tonight. Sunny start Sunday, clouds and maybe an after 2pm T-shower.

PLAINS: Low – 53, High – 85. Clear, and cool tonight. Mostly sunny Sunday morning, clouds and maybe a brief late-day T-shower.

WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 52, High – 78. Clear, and cool tonight. Sunny start Sunday, clouds and maybe a PM T-shower.

NEXT WEATHER MAKER: The next weather-maker is a heat maker. Heat is going to bulge right back in to the region, starting Monday afternoon, and especially Tuesday through Saturday.
