Today’s Forecast:
A couple of storms…pretty far away…one in Iowa and one in Nevada, are bringing us competing winds and air masses (one cool and one warm), but both storms will lift far enough northward to get us beyond their competing boundaries. What this means for our weather is, brightening skies, warmer temperatures, and on a few days, just a slight chance for a brief PM thundershower.
Specifically, if you want any rain this week, small chance in the Mountains, Monday…which as these die out, could sprinkle the I-25 corridor late in the day. Also, southern counties stand a reasonable PM chance, Tuesday. After that, it’s keep the sunscreen handy through Friday.
COLORADO SPRINGS: Low – 44, High – 78. Scattered showers this evening, mostly cloudy overnight. Monday, Cloudy, then sunny midday, then cloudy, with a small chance for a late day shower. Much warmer.
PUEBLO: Low – 46, High – 84. A scattered shower this evening, then mostly cloudy. Monday, Clouds, then sun, then clouds; small chance for a late day shower. Much warmer.
CANON CITY: Low – 45, High – 82. A scattered shower this evening, then mostly cloudy. Monday, Clouds, then sun, then clouds; small chance for a late day shower. Much warmer.
WOODLAND PARK: Low – 40, High – 66. Scattered showers this evening, mostly cloudy overnight. Monday, Cloudy, then sunny midday, then cloudy, with a small chance for a late day shower. Much warmer.
TRI-LAKES: Low – 42, High – 72. Scattered showers this evening, mostly cloudy overnight. Monday, Cloudy, then sunny midday, then cloudy, with a small chance for a late day shower. Much warmer.
PLAINS: Low – 48, High – 86. A scattered shower this evening, then mostly cloudy. Monday, Clouds, then sun, then clouds; small chance for a late day shower. Much warmer.
WALSENBURG/TRINIDAD: Low – 46, High – 84. A scattered shower this evening, then mostly cloudy. Monday, Clouds, then sun, then clouds; chance for a later day shower. Much warmer.
