At 149 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Rocky Ford, or 12 miles west of La Junta, moving northeast at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…
La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Las Animas, Ordway, Swink,
Manzanola, Sugar City, Cheraw, Crowley, Higbee and John Martin
Reservoir.
