COLORADO SPRINGS — There's no arguing that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has changed a massive portion of our daily lives.
In the midst of these changes, many local businesses are finding ways to overcome and adapt to keep their doors open, while at the same time, help those around them.
Similarly, businesses hit hard are reporting a tremendous outpouring of support from the community.
This outpouring reminding all of us that while this global epidemic has changed so much, it HASN'T changed people's desire for community.
This is We're Open Colorado, a segment dedicated to highlighting local businesses that are still open and finding unique ways to serve the community.
With all of this in mind, let's take a look at uBreakiFix, an electronics repair shop which is starting to offer free Google and Samsung smartphone repairs to our first responders and frontline workers who are working to keep us all safe.
The organization is offering to fix Galaxy series devices as well as google Pixel smartphones. They are limiting this offer to one device per person.
We hope that this provides some relief to frontline heroes who are struggling with a broken device and makes it easier for them to communicate with those that matter most to them.
First Responders and healthcare workers are all eligible for this free service, the company asking only for an ID to prove eligibility.
The free service runs through June 30th of this year. You can find out more by visiting their FACEBOOK page.
