Jena Griswold wins Democratic primary for Colorado attorney general

DENVER, Colo. — Jena Griswold won the Democratic nomination on Tuesday for the 2026 Colorado attorney general race, the Associated Press declared.

As of Tuesday evening, Griswold had 47% of the vote, beating out Hetal Doshi, Michael Dougherty, and David Seligman.

Griswold will face off against Republican Michael Allen.

Current attorney general, Democrat Phill Weiser, won his party's nomination in the 2026 Colorado gubernatorial race.
