(CITY OF PUEBLO) – The King of Pop visited a very special fan in Pueblo.
Barney Arguello, a client at Pueblo Community Resources, recently had a decline in health but had one wish of meeting his idol: Michael Jackson.
Since the actual King of Pop is no longer around, impersonator and Pueblo native Sonny G., dressed the part and made Arguello’s wish come true.
The performer spent Tuesday afternoon with Arguello, showing him and his friends some iconic dance moves.
Sonny G. even brought along some gifts for Arguello including a new fedora and an autographed poster.
“It was just an unbelievable, magical moment from beginning to end,” said Sabio Concialdi, the in-program director at Pueblo Community Resources.
For the actor, the feeling was mutual.
“For me to come out here and just spend time having legit, honest-to-god fun with people that just love it and that i love also, it tops the list,” said Sonny G.
“There’s nothing better than it.”
Pueblo Community Resources is an agency in Pueblo serving adults with developmental disabilities.
