Vigil held for teenager killed in shooting

COLORADO SPRINGS — Friends and family gathered at an apartment complex Tuesday evening where a shooting left a 15-year-old boy dead.

The Colorado Springs Police Department said 15-year-old Isaac James was killed at an apartment complex located off La Salle Street.

During the vigil, James' grandmother said "that justice will be served" to whoever shot her grandson.

We have not received any suspect information.

Police said this death is being treated as a homicide. This is the 24th homicide investigation in Colorado Springs this year. This time last year, Colorado Springs had 31 homicides.
