COLORADO SPRINGS — Two employees at a Colorado Springs Safeway have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the El Paso County Department of Health.

The health department said the two employees worked at the Safeway on 1425 S. Murray Blvd.

EPCDH does not consider this an outbreak as it is not "three or more cases," but the department does say that anyone who visited this location in the past week should monitor their symptoms.

As of Thursday night, there has been two other major outbreaks in Colorado Springs at large commercial stores: Walmart on Space Center Drive and on 8th Street have confirmed cases of COVID-19.

This is an ongoing story and we will continue to update it as more information becomes available.
