COLORADO SPRINGS — A shelter-in-place was lifted for a neighborhood in northeast Colorado Springs Monday night following a barricaded suspect situation.
The Colorado Springs Police Department said they responded to a disturbance where a man was trying to serve civil paperwork to someone when they went back into the home and pointed a gun at the man.
Police said they were attempting to make contact with the suspect when they arrived, but he ran into the home and would not come out. An arrest warrant was then issued and police were able to take him into custody safely.
