PUEBLO — City Councilwoman Lori Winner said the Pueblo Board of Waterworks will work with businesses impacted by COVID-19 on a water bill refund.

Businesses could get a refund for being charged for their waste and stormwater bills, along with the street utility enterprise while being closed because of coronavirus restrictions.

"It is important to do this because businesses are struggling and small business is the backbone of every economy and it is important that these people get back on their feet and doing well again," Winner said.

Winner said more than 400 Pueblo businesses were impacted by this issue.
