COLORADO SPRINGS — A COVID-19 plan is in place for the Catholic Church to resume limited Masses in Colorado Springs. Bishop Michael Sheridan announced Masses happening May 16 and 17 at local parishes.

It happens with attendance restrictions. Numbers will be limited through reservations. Social distancing rules will happen during services.

“While we are happy to be able to welcome the faithful back to church, Catholics are still dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass because we are not yet at the point where we are permitted to fill our churches, said Bishop Sheridan, “Anyone who is sick or has an underlying condition that would make them susceptible to the coronavirus should not attend public Mass and is encouraged to participate via internet or television.”

Check with individual parishes for schedules.
