COLORADO SPRINGS — The mother of De'Von Bailey, the Colorado Springs teen shot and killed by police this summer, is asking for money from a state victim's fund to help pay for her son's funeral.

Delisha Searcy said she was told she's not eligible for assistance until prosecutors rule whether or not the shooting was justified.

The FBI said it is also reviewing the case.
