COLORADO — Colorado Parks and Wildlife is investigating the case of a dog attacking a baby deer.
Michael Garcia took video of the incident that has gone crazy on social media. News 5 has chosen not to show the video due to its graphic nature.
CPW officers warn that pets attacking wildlife is a serious matter.
"Make sure you keep them on a leash or keep control of them. It is unlawful to intentionally or negligently release them on wildlife," said Assistant Wildlife Manager, Cody Winger.
If found responsible, owners in a situation like this can face fines and even criminal charges.
