COLORADO SPRINGS — The city of Colorado Springs is sponsoring a final "Renter's Rights Workshop"

The workshops are offered to help tenants and owners navigate the process of finding affordable housing.

More than 40 percent of people in the Springs are renting and the response has been positive.

"The last one, which was in August, we did formal comment cards. The response was overwhelmingly positive," said Catherine Duarte with the city.

The workshop is this coming Saturday, Oct. 12th. It will be at the Sand Creek Library from 2 p.m. to 3;30 p.m.

The event is free but attendees are asked to sign up on the city website, as space is limited.
