FREMONT COUNTY — The Fremont County Sheriff's Office reports that an arrest has been made in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday in Canon City.
According to the Sheriff's Office, 33-year-old Shera Marie Carter, has been charged with 1st Degree Homicide in the shooting death of 34-year-old Coty Bass.
The shooting occurred Saturday, 5/2/20, in the 2100 block of Washington St. in Canon City.
Carter is being held in the Fremont County Detention Center on a no-bond hold until her arraignment on Monday.
No further information has been released at this time.
