Impeachment: Articles expected to be finalized during today's hearing

The House is quickly moving forward on articles of impeachment against President Trump. Yesterday's Judiciary Committee meeting to consider the articles of impeachment kicks off a two-day committee marathon to debate and vote on the articles of impeachment.

Defense spending bill includes big money for Colorado, establishes Space Force

A region dependent upon its military installations will soon see a large influx in federal money tied to the defense spending bill in Congress. The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 includes an overall topline defense budget of $738 billion. From that, the Colorado Springs area looks to see $322 million in new construction spending

Dry, breezy at home while snow hits mountains through weekend

Dry, breezy and fairly quiet across southern Colorado today while the mountains to our west brace for periods of heavy snow through the weekend. We'll see cloudy skies today with a nice breeze through the afternoon. Temperatures will be above average today with most areas east of the mountains warming into the lower 50s.

YMCA announces $100 million downtown Colorado Springs rebuild

Leaders of the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region just announced a massive more than $100 million first phase rebuild project in downtown Colorado Springs. It is a unique project with the Y health facility on lower levels of a high rise and “workforce housing” apartments on upper levels of the high-rise building.
