Extended Outlook:
The mountains west in and around the Continental Divide will see periods of heavy snow starting today and lasting through Sunday. If you're going to be driving out west over the next few days, please just monitor the road conditions and let people know when you're leaving. We are going to be dry on Friday across southern Colorado, but a few stray snow showers and flurries are possible in Teller County and western Fremont County. Light snow is expected to be more widespread through our region on Saturday, with more snow happening on Sunday. Sunday looks to drop pretty heavy accumulation through our region, so plan out any travel carefully.
