COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs police are investigating after a woman suffered serious wounds in a stabbing Monday night.
Police said they responded to a reported stabbing near the intersection of Nevada and Fillmore, where they found a 35-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.
The woman was taken to the hospital, and police say she will likely survive.
Officers determined that the stabbing likely occurred in a vehicle after an argument. Police said the woman was dropped off in the 200 block of Fillmore Street, where officers found her around 10:30 p.m.
No suspect information has been released at this time, but police say there is no danger to the public.
