COLORADO SPRINGS – A student at District 49’s Falcon High School is facing felony charges for allegedly bringing a concealed weapon on campus, burglary, and misdemeanor theft.
The school district notified parents about the arrest of 18-year-old Joel Ramsey which was based on a tip to Safe2Tell last week.
According to the district, Ramsey was contacted by El Paso County deputies when he was not on campus. The charges are related to the theft and possession of a firearm.
Ramey reportedly did not make any threats towards the campus, students or staff.

Ramsey is now banned from any District 49 campus or event.
