CSPD investigating Sunday morning stabbing

COLORADO SPRINGS – Police are investigating after finding a victim with multiple stab wounds in a car in the southeast part of Colorado Springs early Sunday morning.

Police responded to the 1900 block of Fountain Boulevard around 2:30 a.m. on a reported stabbing, which is where they found the victim. Police said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Police said the victim told officers he was stabbed near the 1800 block of Aeroplaza Drive, which is near the intersection of Aeroplaza and E. Fountain Boulevard.

Police said they contacted two witnesses to the incident, but they said they have not contacted the suspect. Police have not released the suspect’s name or any other information about what led up to the stabbing.

CSPD said there is no threat to the public at this time because of this incident.
