COLORADO SPRINGS – Hundreds of people in need in Colorado Springs got a chance to enjoy a turkey dinner Friday, ahead of Easter Sunday.
The Colorado Springs Rescue Mission held its annual Easter Fest Friday, with more than 150 volunteers manning City Auditorium to help out.
“Easter, again what a great time, where the whole world is thinking about hope, to be able to provide hope for individuals who are struggling within this community,” said Travis Williams from the Springs Rescue Mission.
Donations made Friday’s event possible. Volunteers were on hand to connect people with resources.
