COLORADO SPRINGS — As state lawmakers consider a bill to fund statewide tuition-free all day kindergarten, one of the largest school districts in Colorado Springs has decided to put a plan in place for its families now.
Academy D20 announced this week they will be offering free full day kindergarten to parents and students for the 2019-2020 school year.
Previously families were required to pay tuition in D20 if kindergarten students were enrolled for more than half-day.
Interested families can enroll now on the district’s website. Enrollment must be completed by May 31st.
